Mainline Mash: Southern Utah

Mainline Mash: Southern Utah

This past February, we kicked off the first Mainline Mash in southern Utah - a three-day off-road motorcycle trip. Fueled by Babes in the Dirt. The idea was straightforward: get riders together in a place most of us had never been, spend our days riding singletrack, and our nights around the campfire building real community. We had five riders total - close friends, people who saw it on social media, and one newcomer. We set up base camp and spent three days riding across ridgelines, cliffside trails, canyons, and valleys. We never rode the same trail twice.

We kept things simple but made sure the experience was solid. Mornings started with breakfast at camp. Days were spent tackling technical trails and taking in Utah's landscape. Evenings ended around the fire with good conversation. One night we set up a projector on the van and watched Supercross under the stars. But the moment that really showed me this event was working came when we rode into town for BBQ lunch. Sitting there watching everyone laugh and tell stories from the day's ride, I realized - this was exactly what the Mainline Mash was supposed to be. Just friends making memories on motorcycles.

This is only the start. The plan is to go somewhere new each year, explore different terrain, and bring more riders along. There are too many amazing places to ride and too many people who want to do it together. If everything goes right, the Mainline Mash will become something riders look forward to every year - a tradition built on friendship, exploration, and a love for dirt bikes.
